Jubilee Missions New York has just celebrated the organization's 7th anniversary with new hope for this new year. There is a lot to be thankful for this past year. Here is a list of important accomplishments: In the Fall of 2008, three new artistic directors joined the team, bringing with them their lengthy experience and their passion for the Lord. BREATHE - Kevin Singleton The Jubilee Symphony Orchestra - Stephen P Brown The Jubilee Chorus - Virginia Hart Pike Membership levels surpassed the goal of seventy active members. BREATHE performs at Night of Hope, hosted by Joel Osteen and Lakewood Church, at the new Yankee Stadium. BREATHE leads worship at Project Dance's Friday worship gathering in Times Square. BREATHE gets exclusive visit by Grammy Award-winning songwriter and worship leader Israel Houghton, who shared his testimony and answered questions. The Jubilee Symphony's chamber ensembles perform at Trinity Church at Wall Street and American Heart Association's Heart Ball at the American Museum of Natural History. The Jubilee Symphony performs first children's concert at Union Theological Seminary. The Jubilee Chorus debuts original work by Ms. Hart, with the Jubilee Symphony and baritone Kamel Boutros. |
